
Ty Buttrey recently returned to action after being reinstated from the injured list. He made his first appearance for the Triple-A club, Sugar Land, since late April. Buttrey had been recovering from a fractured right middle finger, which kept him out of the game for over two months. In his comeback game, he pitched two scoreless innings, allowing no hits but walking two batters and striking out one. Prior to joining Sugar Land, Buttrey had three rehab appearances in the rookie-level Florida Complex League.
